Abstract

<span;>Lecturing is a method of teaching, it’s most convenient with large classes, not a carefree approach to teaching. The approach is geared towards positive change to the beneficiaries (Students). Learning is however dependent on the motivation of the Students. Absence of motivation makes learning slow. Though motivation of Students depends to a large extent on the lecturers. Creative activities such as assignments, library use can enhance motivation. It must be emphasized that motivation can also be self-directed and can change with time dependent on the readiness of the learner. Readiness is based on age and experience. Most often than not, a lesson is not taught until it is learnt and not learnt until is understood.
